    Curtain Up Productions is comprised of theatre professionals who have worked in the arts for over 25 years. We are uniquely positioned to understand what the audiences of the region are looking for in live theatre.

  • Ginny Brennan

    Executive Director

    Ginny Brennan has been an arts education leader in the Delaware Valley region for over a decade. She is the Executive Director of Lambertville, NJ's Downtown Performing Arts Center and Downtown Players.  Her studio is highly regarded for providing arts training and performance opportunities to the area's youth.

    In 2010, Ginny entered into an agreement with the State of New Jersey to bring live theatre to the long dormant Open Air Theatre located inside the Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, NJ. As the Executive Director of the Open Air Theatre, her vision has created a thriving summer performance season that consists of mainstage productions and an extensive children's theatre series.

    Prior to the creation of the Downtown Performing Arts Center, she served as the General Manager and Children's Theatre Director for the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA where she created, directed and produced children's theatre programming.

  • Louis Palena

    Artistic Director

    Louis has served as the Co-Artistic Director for the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre in Titusville, NJ since 2010. During that period he has directed and/or choreographed many of outdoor venue's productions.

    Louis works with high school students throughout the region directing and choreographing for many of the area's school districts, including New Hope Academy, Gwynedd Mercy Academy and LaSalle College High School. Prior to 2010, regional theatre audiences saw Louis in a variety of leading roles, most notably in productions at the Bucks County Playhouse.

  • Jordan Brennan

    Artistic Director

    A 2005 graduate of New York's Marymount Manhattan College, Jordan has been performing since a young age.   During his years as a member of the resident company of the Bucks County Playhouse, Jordan performed in numerous musical productions.

    An experienced costumer, Jordan has costumed all of the productions at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre since 2010. He has also served as director for numerous productions including Pippin, Seussical, Cabaret and the Downtown Performing Arts Center's annual production of A Christmas Carol. Jordan works with New Hope Solebury High School as its resident choreographer for its annual productions.

  • Michael Naylor

    Director of PR and Media Relations

    In a career that has taken him from New Hope, PA to New York City, Michael has spent 25 years in Arts Marketing and PR. For over 19 years, he served as the Director of Public Relations for New Hope, PA's historic Bucks County Playhouse. Along with media relations, he created the Playhouse's original web site, integrated an online ticketing system into its structure and routinely kept patrons up-to-date on news and information.

    In 2007, Michael left the Playhouse taking a position with a New York City based Arts Marketing company where he was the Art Director and Writer for its educational division. He has created, written and designed educational materials for a variety of Broadway, Off-Broadway and regional productions including Shrek the Musical, In the Heights, Million Dollar Quartet, West Side Story, Driving Miss Daisy, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Young Frankenstein, Gypsy starring Patti LuPone, Leap of Faith, Legally Blonde, Working, John Tartgalia's ImaginOcean, 13 the Musical, A Tale of Two Cities and many more.

    Additionally, Michael works as a web designer for Gables Grove Productions and the New York Children's Theater Festival in New York City. He has worked with the off-Broadway production of John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean, and two national tours with the Jim Henson Company: Dinosaur Train LIVE and Sid the Science Kid LIVE. He continues to work with the media outlets of the region as the Director of Media Relations for the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre in Titusville, NJ.

  • Mark Beckman

    Mark is a Supervisor for Special Education and graduated from Rutgers University with a Degree in Psychology and Theater and from Kean University with a Masters in Educational Psychology, a certification as School Psychologist and continued on for his Administrative Supervisory Certificate. While at Rutgers he performed on the main stage at the Mason Gross School for the Arts (Candide) and sang for four years with the Rutgers Glee Club. He has directed and choreographed high school musicals for over 10 years such as Sugar, Babes in Arms, Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof and South Pacific to name a few. He has had numerous stage opportunities in community theaters throughout his life including Morristown Community Theater, Bucks County Playhouse and DPAC/OAT.

  • Nancy Beckman

    Nancy graduated from Douglas College, Rutgers University with a degree in Psychology and Education. She taught preschool and kindergarten and was with Bound Brook Public School System for 13 years as a 1st grade teacher.  Nancy has been a resident of Flemington for over 18 years and for the last 7 years worked locally at a consignment shop and is currently working in a boutique. Her three children has been involved with DPAC shows for the past 10 years. She enjoys volunteering at DPAC and is looking forward to DPAC's bright future.

  • Wendy Cobb

    Secretary

    Wendy graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and is a Training Consultant for the Federal government with over 25 years of human resources experience.   She has served on choir and theatre parent boards within the Council Rock School District.  Wendy’s interest in theatre began when her oldest child started performing at an early age and she has been a “theatre mom” for over a decade and counting.   She is a dedicated volunteer for the Downtown Performing Arts Center (DPAC) and came to Curtain Up Productions through DPAC.  Wendy brings a wealth of administrative,  management and logistical experience to Curtain Up Productions and is thrilled to be a part of an organization dedicated to enriching, educating and entertaining the community through the study, performance and appreciation of the arts.

  • Anya Madding

    Anya is a personal chef and entrepreneur who has worked in the hospitality business for over 30 years. As a former Office Administrator at a ballet company for six years, Anya's experience includes production and volunteer organization, customer relations, and event promotion.

  • Amy Mahar

    Amy, along with her husband and three daughters, resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She has a BA in communications and worked in the medical education field for over 18 years.  She has always had a passion for the arts and because her children share that passion she has furthered her enjoyment through them.  For the last 13 years she has been a volunteer on various levels with several educational programs and theatres in the PA/NJ area.  She has been affiliated with Downtown Performing Arts Center for the last 10 years and is excited to be a part of Curtain Up Productions. 

  • Jennifer McClellan

    Jennifer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and has worked professionally in the PA/NJ area for almost 25 years, spending the last 19 in various Human Resources roles within the pharmaceutical industry. In addition to her professional experience, she has chaired committees and projects in Christian Education, Personnel, and Pastoral Search at Salem United Church of Christ in Doylestown, PA and has been an active parent volunteer in the Central Bucks School District. Jen came to Curtain Up, Inc. through DPAC, where she was led by her children 7 years ago and has been an active volunteer since. Her love and appreciation for the arts has grown through this involvement. She is excited to continue to help them fulfill their mission to bring out the best in everyone and enrich the lives of youth through the arts, and through Curtain Up, Inc. continue to bring the arts and quality theatre to the community.

  • Erik Snyder

    Erik first came to Curtain Up Productions through his children's involvement with the Downtown Performing Arts Center and has since participated in both the production and performance sides. Erik has served for 8 years as the President of the Devonshire Estates Homeowners Association, a 220 home community, and also owns his own real estate company. His full-time employment is as a sales manager with Hill's Pet Nutrition, where he works with over 1000 veterinarians to teach them about nutrition in both healthy and sick animals. Erik received his MBA  from Eastern University in 1999, and brings years of sales and marketing experience to the Curtain Up Productions Board of Directors.

  • David Whiteman

    David is a New Hope native transplanted to Lambertville via Boston and NYC.  Between all those places are 37-years of acting, directing, and writing in theatre, film, television and cabarets. Between being Children’s Theatre Coordinator at the Bucks County and Pocono Playhouses and his present position as Entertainment Coordinator for Mad Science of West New Jersey for the past 16 years, David has spent countless hours educating and entertaining children and audiences throughout the area.
